Carolyn Waldo
2x Olympic Gold Medalist & PR Consultant

Carolyn joins the panel as a moderator with over 25 years of experience in the broadcasting business. She not only boasts decades of experience in sport journalism but an awe inspiring athletic career as well. Carolyn currently shares her wealth of knowledge as a media and public relations consultant.


In 1984, Carolyn captured a silver medal for synchronised swimming at the Los Angeles Olympic Games. Four years later, at the age of 23, Carolyn took home two Olympic gold medals in the Seoul Olympics. She became the first woman to capture to gold medals at the same Olympic Games. In 1992 and 2012, she attended yet another two Olympic Games; as a colour commentator and reporter.


To further add to her list of achievements, Carolyn was the 1988 Olympic flag bearer, six-time world champion and a four-time Canadian Female Athlete of the Year. Carolyn has also been honoured as a member of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame, and an Officer of the Order of Canada.
