Coordinator, Programming and Community Outreach

Marie-Soleil is Ottawa 2017’s Coordinator of Programming and community outreach. On top of working on the signature events, she is involved with local organizations and businesses to support their own vision about how they want to celebrate Canada’s 150th. Her portfolio also covers overseeing Ottawa 2017 Bureau’s different funding opportunities.


Her work history includes: Drummondville 200th, Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Surrey International Children’s Festival, Vancouver 125th, Quebec 400th, etc. She has also been involved in the sports community via the management of a sailing club and being the head of the sport portfolio for the regional sports and leisure unit of Quebec City/Area. She worked 5 different Quebec Games provincial finales, managed Quebec Games regional finales, represented coaches on certification program, lead regional concertation table on sports, developed regionally the Mes Premiers Jeux initiation to sports program, etc.


She is incredibly well versed on sporting events and festivals and will be a special presenter at #uOSMC16.
